Islamabad, Sep 30: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s recent speech at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 79) attracted a total of 137 million views to the UN official YouTube channel, making it the most watched live speech by a world leader worldwide.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s speech was one of the most watched events on the international scene, with more people watching it than those who watched speeches by other world leaders, according to data shared by the Center for Public Opinion Research, the PM Office Media Wing said in a press release on Monday. The prime minister rose to prominence as the most well-known global leader, drawing enormous audiences.
The UN’s official YouTube channel streamed the speeches of world leaders live, while 1.6 million people watched the prime minister’s speech live on Al Jazeera’s Tiktok account.
