ISLAMABAD, JULY 31: Data from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) shows that by the end of June 2024, there were 192.53 million cellular users, up from 192.32 million at the end of May 2024.
According to data from the regulator, Pakistan had a rise in 3G and 4G customers from 133.26 million at the end of May 2024 to 134.87 million by the end of June.
Cellular tele density, or the number of connections per 100 people in the nation, was constant at 79 percent by the end of June, while Next Generation Mobile Service (NGMS) penetration rose from 55.07 percent at the end of May to 55.61 percent by the end of June. By the end of June, Jazz had 3.041 million 3G users, down from 3.145 million at the end of May. By the end of June, Jazz had 47.295 million 4G users, up from 46.547 million at the end of May.
Zong had a decline in 3G subscribers at the end of May, from 2.026 million to 1.983 million, and a rise in 4G customers at the end of June, from 36.220 million to 36.665 million.
By the end of June, there were 2.238 million 3G customers on Ufone, up from 2.278 million at the end of May. By the end of May, there were 15.652 million 4G customers on Ufone, up from 15.306 million.
