This announcement was made following a landmark meeting between Pakistan’s Prime Minister and Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko during the premier’s recent official visit to Belarus.

One of the most significant outcomes of the meeting was the agreement to send 150,000 Pakistani workers to Belarus to support its nation-building initiatives.
These individuals will contribute across sectors including construction, IT, agriculture, and skilled manufacturing.
Other key highlights of the talks included enhanced cooperation in agriculture and food security, as well as potential joint ventures in the manufacturing of electric buses and agricultural machinery—sectors that promise mutual economic growth.
Both sides expressed a shared commitment to transform the long-standing bond of friendship into a robust, strategic partnership.
“President Lukashenko and I share a strong desire to continue elevating Pakistan-Belarus cooperation to new and greater heights,” the Prime Minister concluded.
This visit not only reflects Belarus’s confidence in the Pakistani workforce but also paves the way for stronger economic, cultural, and diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
