Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced that a total of 250,000 new students have been enrolled during the recent rationalisation process, which is seen as a very positive development. However, he ensured ghost enrollments will be strictly monitored to ensure transparency and accuracy.
All AEOs, Deputy Directors, District Officers, and Chief Education Officers are now called upon to take action and verify student records promptly.

Earlier, due to the initiatives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, a historic 1.1 million out-of-school children have been enrolled in a short period under the Punjab Education Foundation.
