Islamabad, Nov 8: Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan Following Sharp Decline.The cost of gold in Pakistan increased by Rs. 2,000 per tola on Friday following a significant drop the previous day. As per information released by the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of gold (24 carats) rose by Rs. 2,000 per tola, bringing it to Rs. 278,800, while the price for 10 grams climbed by Rs. 1,715 to reach Rs. 239,026.

The cost of 10 grams of 22 karat gold rose to Rs. 219,107 from Rs. 217,535, according to the Association. The previous day, gold prices fell by Rs. 5,400 per tola after international market prices dropped to a three-week low, as investors turned to the US dollar following Donald Trump’s election as US president.
In the international market, gold prices also saw an increase of $21, moving from $2,662 to $2,683 compared to the day before, as reported by the Association.The prices for silver per tola and for 10 grams remained stable at Rs. 3,300 and Rs. 2,829.21 respectively.
