Islamabad, May 25, 2025: As of today, a total of 55,642 Pakistani Hajj pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia through 244 dedicated flights, with 4,558 more expected to land later today via an additional 19 flights, revealed Muhammad Umar Butt, spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Speaking to Radio Pakistan’s Abdul Rehman Cheema from Makkah, Butt confirmed that the Hajj flight operation will remain active until May 31st, ensuring the smooth arrival of all registered pilgrims. He emphasized that comprehensive preparations are being finalized for accommodating the pilgrims in Mina and Arafat, pivotal locations during the Hajj rituals.
Umar Butt highlighted that pilgrims are being offered high-quality meals and hospitality in both Makkah and Madinah, reflecting the government’s commitment to making this spiritual journey comfortable and memorable.
All accommodations have been strategically arranged—Markaziya, near the Masjid-e-Nabawi (SAWW) in Madinah, and in Aziziyah, Batha Quraish, and Naseem in Makkah—ensuring pilgrims stay close to key religious sites.

In a significant development, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, is scheduled to visit Saudi Arabia shortly. His visit will include on-ground reviews of the Hajj arrangements and formal meetings with Saudi authorities to further streamline the pilgrimage experience.

This year, Pakistan has strengthened its coordination with Saudi counterparts to ensure a smooth, safe, and spiritually fulfilling Hajj for its citizens. With over 81,000 total pilgrims expected under the government quota, the operation is being hailed for its efficiency and organization.
