The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a weather advisory, warning that the rain system near India’s Gujarat and Rajasthan border may impact southern parts of Pakistan, including Sindh, Balochistan, and southern Punjab.

According to NDMA, intermittent rainfall is expected to continue until 10 September, with heavy to very heavy showers likely in the Sulaiman Range and southern Punjab. The authority cautioned that certain regions of Sindh, Balochistan, and southern Punjab may face the risk of urban flooding.

The NDMA also highlighted the danger of flash floods in the Kirthar Range and Sulaiman Range, while streams and rivers in Lasbela and Khuzdar districts of Balochistan could overflow due to torrential rains. Citizens in vulnerable areas have been advised to stay alert and follow official safety instructions.
