In a move set to strengthen bilateral relations, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, will arrive in Pakistan on a two-day official visit.

The visit is anticipated to provide significant momentum to the longstanding political, economic, and strategic partnership between the two nations. A spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the itinerary, stating that “Nurtleu’s visit will further cement longstanding Pakistan-Kazakhstan ties.”

The Deputy PM’s agenda is expected to feature high-level meetings with Pakistan’s leadership, including the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Discussions will focus on a wide range of issues of mutual interest, with a particular emphasis on enhancing trade and connectivity.

A key area of focus will be bolstering cooperation within the framework of the Transports Internationaux Routiers (TIR) system and optimizing the potential of the International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC). These discussions aim to unlock new opportunities for land-based trade and transit, reducing cargo time and costs between the two countries and the wider region.
