The federal government has reduced electricity prices by Rs. 1.78 per unit, bringing much-needed relief to consumers.
The price cut has been made under the monthly fuel price adjustment for July, and a formal notification has already been issued.
According to the notification, the reduction in electricity tariff will also apply to K-Electric users, ensuring that Karachi consumers benefit equally.

The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has dispatched official letters to all power distribution companies, including LESCO, to implement the new rates.
This adjustment means that consumers will notice the reduction in their upcoming September bills.
