Considering the difficulties faced by candidates from Southern Punjab, the Inspector-Legal Punjab Police and other departmental exams, originally scheduled for 13th and 14th September, have been postponed.

The decision was made under the guidance of PPSC Chairman Lt. Gen. (R) Muhammad Abdul Aziz, during a meeting chaired by Member Exam Mirza Sohail Amir.

The rescheduled exams will now be held on 20th and 21st September at the PPSC Exam Center, Johar Town. PPSC has issued an official notification regarding the change.

Secretary PPSC Afzal Ahmed and other officials attended the meeting. According to PPSC spokesperson Syed Kazim Muqaddas Kazmi, a special meeting was convened to consider the situation.

The decision was made keeping in view the challenges posed by recent floods for candidates. Candidates will be informed via SMS, email, and the PPSC website.

A total of 434 positions were to be filled, with over 8,000 candidates expected to appear. The exams have now been rescheduled to accommodate the affected candidates.
