Pakistan’s tractor industry continued to struggle in August 2025, with total sales falling sharply to 996 units, down 63% year-on-year (YoY) from 2,670 units sold in August 2024.
On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, tractor sales also slipped, declining 17% from 1,195 units recorded in July 2025.
In the first two months of FY26 (2MFY26), overall tractor sales dropped 47%, reaching 2,191 units compared to the same period last year.
Millat Tractors sold 682 units in August, marking a 44% YoY drop from 1,218 units last year and a 22% MoM decline from 875 units in July. In 2MFY26, its sales stood at 1,557 units, down 15% year-on-year.

AGTL (Al-Ghazi Tractors Limited) witnessed an even steeper fall, with sales plunging 78% YoY to 314 units in August, compared to 1,452 units last year. Sales were almost flat on a monthly basis, down 2% from 320 units in July. For 2MFY26, AGTL sold only 634 units, down a massive 73% year-on-year.
