Islamabad hiking trails have officially reopened for the public, allowing citizens to enjoy outdoor treks including the popular Margalla Hills trails.

The reopening comes after a temporary closure due to heavy rainfall in the city, authorities said.

Deputy Commissioner Islamabad stated that the decision to reopen the trails was taken with public safety as the top priority. “Our main concern is the safety of residents who visit these trails for hiking and exercise,” he added.
