Errors in the Class 9 Math textbook have come to light soon after mistakes were earlier discovered in the computer science book. According to education expert Ejaz Hussain, students are facing confusion and difficulty in preparing for exams because of the wrong questions.

According to the details, the issue has been spotted on page 73 in Exercise 4.3 of the math book, where a question is printed incorrectly.

Hussain explained that when the question is wrong, the answer naturally becomes wrong as well, creating serious learning challenges for students.

He criticized the review committee for showing little interest, which has led to a series of mistakes in the textbooks. Earlier, the computer book wrongly translated the word “mouse” as “rat,” raising concerns about the quality of proofreading.

Ejaz Hussain urged the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Authority (PCTB) to take immediate notice of the matter. He also pointed out that there are differences between the questions printed in the PCTB edition and those in books by private publishers, leaving children even more confused while solving exercises.
