Today marks the last day of the scheduled closure of Lahore Airport’s runway during specific hours. The Airport Authority will issue an official NOTAM (Notice to Airmen or Notice to Air Missions) to formally announce the end of the closure.

The decision to restrict operations for two and a half months was taken due to the heavy presence of birds during the monsoon season. From July 1 to September 15, the runway remained closed from 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM daily.
