The 16th meeting of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board was held on Thursday at the CDA Headquarters, chaired by Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa.

The meeting was attended by members of the CDA Board and relevant officers. Several agenda items were discussed in the 16th meeting of the CDA Board.

According to details, the 16th meeting of the CDA Board approved the decision to waive off charges for grave digging and coffin carrier bus services to provide relief and facilities to the citizens of Islamabad.

The purpose of this decision is to provide citizens with all possible relief and facilities during their time of grief. In this regard, the Chairman CDA directed that more coffin carrier buses be provided to the graveyards of Islamabad.

The meeting approved the allocation of space for the establishment of an ANF office adjacent to the New Islamabad International Airport. Similarly, the meeting decided to approve, in accordance with rules and regulations, the request for land allocation for the construction of a police station in Islamabad.
