The Sindh government has declared a public holiday on September 24 in 14 districts of the province in connection with the local government by-elections.
According to details, the holiday will apply in Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, and Matiari. Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Dadu, Badin, and Thatta will also observe a public holiday.
Additionally, Karachi West, Karachi East, and Keamari districts have been included in the announcement.

A notification has been issued to facilitate voters during the local government by-elections in these 14 districts.
On Wednesday, September 24, all government offices and institutions in these districts will remain closed.
