Mari Energies Limited (PSX: MARI) Wednesday issued a clarification regarding the news that the federal government has decided to allocate 222 MMCFD indigenous gas to three fertilizer plants from the Ghazij/ Shawal reservoir (Mari Gas Field).
In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), MARI said no formal decision on the gas allocation by the government has so far been made.
It said that the matter was discussed by a committee headed by the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister in a meeting held on September 16, 2025.
“We understand that the Committee’s recommendations will be shared with the Petroleum Division for consideration and further processing for approval of the Government,” it added.
