The 35th meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), chaired by Dr. Naeem Rauf, Chairman of the Planning & Development Board, approved three development schemes and two working papers totaling Rs. 7.8998 billion in the Roads, Labor & HR, and Health & Population sectors.

Approved projects include:

  • Rehabilitation & Widening of Satghara-Gogera Road via Jaboka (19.50 km, Tehsil & District Okara) – Rs. 1,315 million
  • Construction of Bypass from Royal Hotel (N-5) to Sarwar Chowk via Adda Mai Wali Masjid (13.70 km, District Sahiwal, revised) – Rs. 1,988.5 million
  • Construction of Dual Carriageway from Sheikh Fazal to Chichawatni (24.15 km, District Sahiwal, revised) – Rs. 4,596.3 million
  • Establishment of Occupational Safety and Health Laboratory at Faisalabad (pilot project)
  • Establishment of Rescue Station at Chowk Marlay, with key points at Purana Thana and Qaboola, District Pakpattan

The meeting was attended by Secretary P&D Board Rafaqat Ali, Chief Economist Masood Anwar, members of P&D, and other senior officials.
