Mobile internet services in Islamabad and Rawalpindi remain suspended on Saturday for the second consecutive day following orders from the Minister for Interior & Narcotics Control.
The suspension of 3G and 4G services, which began at midnight on Friday, will continue until further notice.
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is implementing the suspension in coordination with the Commissioner and IGP Islamabad, as well as the Commissioner and RPO Rawalpindi. Officials said the decision was taken as part of security measures in both cities due to a planned protest by a religious party.
