Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has released a travel advisory for passengers due to major road closures in Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

The airline warned that several flights might face delays as traffic disruptions continue to affect both travelers and airline staff trying to reach airports.

According to the PIA spokesperson, passengers are advised to leave their homes at least four to five hours before their flight time. Road blockages have made airport access difficult, especially for crew members who are also struggling to report for duty on time.

The closures come amid ongoing protests by a religious group, which have brought major highways like the Motorway and GT Road to a standstill. In Wazirabad, the Chenab Toll Plaza has also been sealed off with containers, worsening the travel situation.

With intercity routes blocked, many travelers have shifted to train services and airports in search of alternate travel options.
