Vodafone’s UK network is facing a widespread outage affecting both mobile and broadband services, leaving thousands of customers without internet access.
According to Downdetector, more than 126,000 reports were submitted by users since the issue began around 2:38 pm BST. The outage is impacting mobile data, broadband connections, and even Vodafone’s website and app, preventing customers from managing their accounts or seeking assistance online.
Reports indicate that 72% of users are facing issues with landline internet, while 28% are experiencing problems with mobile internet connectivity.
Some users have speculated that the disruption may be linked to a DNS fault—a complex technical issue that affects how websites and online services are accessed. Others believe the cause could be a core network failure or a hardware-related problem within Vodafone’s infrastructure.
A Vodafone spokesperson confirmed the outage, stating that the company is “aware of the issue and working urgently to resolve it.”
Real-time updates on the situation are being monitored on Downdetector, where users continue to report connectivity issues across the UK.
