WhatsApp has announced that it will limit the number of messages sent without a reply for both users and businesses, in order to prevent spam and unnecessary messages.
According to a statement issued by WhatsApp, this feature will only restrict messages that have not received a reply. When a user or business approaches this limit, the app will issue a warning to prevent them from being blocked for sending messages.
The report states that the company has not yet announced the exact number for this limit, as WhatsApp is testing different thresholds. Initial trials will be conducted in several countries over the coming weeks.
