The Supreme Court of Pakistan has officially launched a new digital public facilitation portal, designed to make the justice system more accessible and transparent for citizens.

Developed under the direction of the Chief Justice of Pakistan, the online platform allows people to easily access case details, file complaints, and monitor the status of applications from any location in the country. The service is available on the Supreme Court’s official website under the section titled Public Portal according to a report by business recorder.

Through the new system, users can search for cases using names, case numbers, or petition types. They can also track the progress of their applications, such as early hearing requests, adjournments, and video link petitions, without needing to visit the court in person.

The 1818 Helpline connects citizens directly with the Supreme Court for guidance and procedural support, while a clear FAQs section explains filing rules and legal terms to help those without legal representation.

For Pakistanis living abroad, the Overseas Litigants Portal enables online communication with the court and tracking of cases. Additionally, the portal includes a secure Anti-Corruption Reporting system, allowing users to report misconduct safely.

Officials said the new digital platform represents a significant step toward improving transparency, accountability, and convenience within Pakistan’s judicial system. The initiative aims to bring justice closer to the people and reduce the need for in-person visits.
