Lahore once again topped the list of the world’s most polluted cities, as air pollution levels reached alarming heights across Punjab.
The overall Air Quality Index (AQI) in Lahore was recorded at 308, with Multan Road peaking at 603 and Iqbal Town at 435, making breathing difficult for residents.
In Faisalabad, the air quality also deteriorated severely, hitting an AQI of 582. Other major cities such as Peshawar, Multan and Gujranwala recorded AQI levels of 205, 487 and 269 respectively.
