The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) has announced a six-member national squad for the upcoming IBSF World Snooker Championship 2025, set to begin on November 3 in Doha, Qatar.
Three-time IBSF World Champion Muhammad Asif, who will be defending his title, has received a direct qualification in the round of 48. Current world U17 champion Muhammad Hasnain Akhtar will also start his campaign from the same stage, alongside seasoned cueist Asjad Iqbal.
Meanwhile, Shahid Aftab and Muhammad Sajjad will begin from the round of 64. Naveed Kapadia will represent Pakistan as the delegate and officiating referee at the event.

The national training camp is currently underway at the Jahangir Khan Sports Complex, Karachi, where the players are practicing daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. PBSA officials expressed confidence that the cueists will bring pride to the nation with strong performances in Doha.
