The Pakistan Airports Authority has started implementing a digital payment system across all airports in the country.
The move comes under the direction of the Government of Pakistan and the State Bank of Pakistan, aiming to make airport transactions more convenient and transparent.
According to officials, all commercial outlets and service providers operating at airports have been instructed to adopt digital payment methods. This step is expected to improve passenger experience, promote transparency, and support the growth of a modern financial system.
