This change will provide relief to households across the country especially as winter approaches and heating costs increase.

This price reduction comes after the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority’s monthly review of the market. They take into account factors like international LPG prices and local distribution costs when making adjustments. The decision is aimed at reducing the burden on consumers who rely on LPG for cooking and heating purposes. In addition to the price cut the government has also lifted the ban on new gas connections. This means more households will be able to access gas through regasified liquefied natural gas or RLNG. This move is expected to improve gas availability for many families.
