Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has confirmed that the Grade 8 assessment exams will be held across the province as part of the government’s education development plan.
In a statement shared on social media, the minister said the Grade 8 Assessment Exam will include four subjects and will be conducted over four days. He added that the step aims to create a more organized and fair evaluation process for students in public and private schools.
Rana Sikandar further announced that a smart syllabus for Grade 8 and Grade 11 will be released next week. The smart syllabus is expected to help students focus on key topics and reduce academic pressure while maintaining learning standards.
Earlier, the Education Department had already uploaded the smart syllabus for Grades 9 and 10 on the official websites of all Punjab education boards.
