A road accident between a Customs vehicle and a motorcycle outside Custom House Karachi led to a brief scuffle on Friday, following which two officials were suspended by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
According to an FBR statement, the incident took place on October 31, 2025, when a minor collision between a Customs vehicle and a motorcycle resulted in an argument that escalated after some local residents reportedly assaulted Customs personnel. In response, the Customs staff also reacted, but the situation was quickly brought under control.
FBR confirmed that Driver Zahoor and Sepoy Yaseen have been suspended pending a formal departmental inquiry. The board stated that while the altercation was personal in nature and not linked to any official duty, the conduct of the staff involved was found to be unprofessional.
