An emergency PSL meeting has been scheduled today as team owners’ demands were accepted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The meeting will take place at the National Cricket Academy and will include six franchise teams, including Multan Sultans.
Franchise owners had requested the meeting to discuss concerns regarding PSL 2026 and 2027. Topics on the agenda include commercial matters, event scheduling, and the EY evaluation report. The owners also sought a briefing on the process for the new two-year title sponsorship agreement.
The PCB has announced the inclusion of two new teams in the Pakistan Super League and plans to sign new franchise agreements this month as the league completes ten years. According to PCB CEO Salman Naseer, PSL matches will now expand to Faisalabad and Peshawar in addition to Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, and Karachi.
