Saylani Welfare International Trust has taken a major step toward promoting an interest-free banking system in Pakistan by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) in Bahrain.
The agreement aims to provide high-quality training and establish global standards in Islamic banking and finance. The collaboration reflects Saylani Welfare’s long-standing efforts, led by its founder Maulana Bashir Farooq Qadri, to eliminate interest from Pakistan’s financial system and transform it in line with Shariah principles.
