Sui Northern Gas has decided to take strict action against consumers using compressors to boost gas pressure, announcing the formation of special teams to monitor these connections.
The initial step in this campaign will involve disconnecting the gas supply of users found using compressors for 15 days. Afterward, their connection will only be restored upon submission of a signed affidavit.
Sources report that if users continue to violate the warning by using compressors, their meters will be removed for a period of three months. The increase in gas usage due to changing weather conditions has led to reduced pressure in some areas, causing consumers to resort to compressors.

This practice not only increases safety risks but also disrupts the gas supply to several households.
Sui Northern authorities have appealed to consumers to file complaints regarding low gas pressure instead of using compressors. This will help ensure the safe and efficient distribution of gas across the region.
