The Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) “IRIS” system was still unable to accept income tax returns. In the meanwhile, the FBR has asked all taxpayers to use the IRIS tax returns portal to confirm their tax deductions rather than going to the Maloomat portal.
For more information, taxpayers are kindly asked to visit this portal, according to FBR. There will be no extension of the deadline for filing returns, which is September 30, 2024.
