Islamabad, Jan 27: Faysal Bank Limited (FBL), a prominent name in Pakistan’s Islamic banking sector, once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to inclusivity by sponsoring the 10th Special Olympics Pakistan (SOP) Unified Marathon 2025.
Marking the bank’s sixth consecutive year of support, this event highlights Faysal Bank’s dedication to fostering a more inclusive society.
The marathon, held at the Governor House in Karachi in collaboration with Sindh’s Governor Kamran Khan Tessori, was inaugurated by Yousaf Hussain, President & CEO of Faysal Bank.
The event saw the participation of around 600 athletes with intellectual disabilities, joined by people from all walks of life. The crowd cheered on these inspiring athletes, showcasing the power of unity and determination.
Speaking at the occasion, Yousaf Hussain emphasized Faysal Bank’s belief in the resilience of the human spirit. “The SOP Unified Marathon is a celebration of strength and perseverance, reminding us that inclusion is key to building a stronger society,” he said.
