Islamabad, Feb 7: Samsung is under fire for delays in rolling out the February security update and the much-anticipated One UI 7 with Android 15 for the Galaxy S25 and S24 series. While Google’s Pixel devices have already received the latest security patch, Samsung users are left waiting.
Alarmingly, a critical vulnerability (CVE-2024-53104), which is actively being exploited in cyberattacks, remains unpatched, according to Forbes.
Adding to user frustration, the recently launched Galaxy S25 is still stuck on the outdated December security patch.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24 may receive the February update before One UI 7’s stable release. Although this patch enhances security, users eager for Android 15’s new features remain disappointed. However, signs suggest the wait may soon be over—Samsung’s servers recently showed a new One UI 7 build, hinting at an imminent rollout.
