Islamabad, Feb 7:Apple will unveil the fourth-generation iPhone SE next week via a press release. It will be available later this month. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says this budget phone will get its biggest upgrade yet.
Moving away from the signature home button and thick bezels of previous models, the iPhone SE 4 will adopt a modern look, closely resembling the iPhone 14. This transition also signals the end of Touch ID in the SE lineup, as Apple integrates Face ID for enhanced security and a seamless user experience.
One of the most groundbreaking updates is Apple’s decision to introduce its first proprietary modem chip in the iPhone SE 4. While its performance may not yet match the latest Qualcomm modems, this strategic move is a step toward Apple’s long-term goal of reducing reliance on third-party suppliers for critical hardware components.
Under the hood, the iPhone SE 4 will feature Apple’s powerful A18 processor, the same chip found in the upcoming iPhone 16 series, paired with 8GB of RAM. Additionally, the shift to a USB-C port ensures compliance with European regulations while enhancing compatibility with modern accessories and chargers. On the camera front, a single 48-megapixel rear sensor is expected to provide superior photography capabilities, making it a solid contender in the mid-range segment.

Despite remaining Apple’s most affordable iPhone, the SE 4 may see a slight price increase from its predecessor’s $429 starting point. However, analysts predict that Apple will keep the price under $500 to remain competitive against mid-range offerings from Samsung and Google.
Apple may announce the iPhone SE 4 on February 11. The launch could also introduce the PowerBeats Pro 2, expanding Apple’s product lineup.
The iPhone SE 4 will feature a new design, better hardware, and Apple’s latest innovations. It aims to attract loyal users and budget-conscious buyers.
