Islamabad, Feb 26: The School Education Department of Sindh has officially revised the schedule for the annual Matric (9th and 10th) and Intermediate (1st and 2nd year) examinations in light of the holy month of Ramadan. This decision was made during a meeting of the Steering Committee’s sub-committee to ensure that students can observe the sacred month with ease.
Under the updated schedule, Matric exams across Sindh, including Karachi, will now take place from April 7 to April 25, following Eid. Before the written exams, practical assessments will be held in schools, beginning on March 10. This change provides students with ample time to prepare while accommodating the religious observances of Ramadan.

Originally, the Matric exams were set to start on March 15, but the revised dates reflect the authorities’ consideration for students’ convenience. Similarly, the Intermediate examinations, which were initially scheduled to begin on April 15, will now commence on April 28. The adjustment ensures that students can focus on their studies without compromising their religious commitments.
These changes aim to facilitate a smoother examination process while acknowledging the significance of Ramadan. Schools and students are advised to take note of the revised dates and plan their preparation accordingly.
