Islamabad, Mar 10, 2025: Rawalpindi authorities have decided to impose stringent legal measures against the unauthorized usage of loudspeakers in mosques.
The City Police Officer (CPO) has formally issued directives instructing law enforcement agencies to enforce compliance with these new regulations.
According to the order, loudspeakers may only be utilized for the call to prayer (Azaan) and Friday sermons. Any other usage, including speeches, religious gatherings, or general announcements, is strictly prohibited.
All Station House Officers (SHOs) have been tasked with closely monitoring their designated areas to ensure that mosques adhere to these restrictions.
