Islamabad, March 13, 2025: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially revealed the ‘Luminara Trophy’ for the landmark 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), set to begin on April 11.
The much awaited trophy was unveiled through a cinematic three-minute promotional video filmed along the coastal waters in Karachi, the home city of Karachi Kings..
With assistance from the Pakistan Navy, a professional diver retrieved a treasure chest from the sea, presenting the silverware to PSL stakeholders.
The event featured PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi, franchise representatives, and players, including former national captain Sarfaraz Ahmed and pacer Rumman Raees.
Naqvi highlighted that the unveiling of ‘Luminara’ at sea symbolized the league’s commitment to innovation and excellence. He described the trophy as a representation of PSL’s legacy and its bright future.
Crafted from a single sheet of solid silver, the 10-kilogram Luminara Trophy is adorned with 22,850 high-luster zircon stones. Its name derives from the Latin words ‘luminare,’ meaning torch, and ‘lumens,’ meaning light.
