Islamabad, Apr 10, 2025: Mohammad Rizwan highlighted the focus of his team on controlling what they can, rather than worrying about the outcomes.
Rizwan, who will lead the Sultans in PSL X, expressed that the mindset of the team is grounded in hard work, preparation, and doing their best, leaving the rest to fate.
The upcoming much-awaited PSL season is set to kick off on April 11, with Islamabad United facing Lahore Qalandars in the opening match in Rawalpindi.
Rizwan, who has been under scrutiny due to disappointing performances in international circuit, is determined to prove himself in the 2025 edition.

His leadership of the national team has faced criticism, especially after the lackluster performances of the Men in Green in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Despite hosting the tournament, Pakistan was knocked out at the group stage without a single win, losing to both New Zealand and India.
The national team also suffered a 3-0 whitewash in the ODI series and a 4-1 defeat in the T20I series under his leadership in New Zealand recently.
Ahead of the Pakistan Super league season tenth Rizwan addressed the media along with the captains of all Pakistan Super League franchises .
At the press conference, a journalist questioned Rizwan’s “win and learn” philosophy, asking if the Sultans would return to winning under his captaincy.

Rizwan, however, responded with composure, reaffirming the focus of Green Shirts on what they can control: their preparation, effort, and commitment.
The Multan Sultans skipper added that the outcome, whether a win or a learning experience, ultimately lies in the hands of Allah.
The 2025 PSL offers Rizwan a chance to regain form and prove his worth after being dropped from National T20I squad due to inconsistency.
This season could be crucial for his future in the national side, with a strong showing in the league potentially helping him reclaim his place.
