Citi Pharma Limited has made a preliminary offer for the potential purchase of a prominent pharmaceutical company in Pakistan, as revealed in a statement to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) in April.
The company mentioned, “This initial offer is aligned with our ongoing strategy to expand and position Citi Pharma as a key contender in Pakistan’s pharmaceutical sector.”
However, Citi Pharma refrained from naming the target company or disclosing any financial details of the acquisition proposal.

It was also noted that any further progress would depend on the due diligence process and approval from both the Board of Directors and the relevant regulatory bodies.
The submission is part of the company’s ongoing strategic expansion plans to become one of the largest players in the pharma industry of Pakistan.
