Islamabad, 18 April 2025: Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators are set to face off in their upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 clash in Karachi today.
Both sides are coming into this fixture on the back of demoralizing defeats against Lahore Qalandars.
Karachi Kings, led by David Warner, were recently beaten by 65 runs.
Despite Hasan Ali’s impressive four-wicket haul, the Kings struggled to restrict Lahore, who posted 201/6, with solid half-centuries from Fakhar Zaman and Daryl Mitchell.
In response, Karachi’s batting line-up failed to gain momentum. No player crossed the 40-run mark, and the team was bowled out for 136 in the final over.

Similarly, Quetta Gladiators also suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Lahore. Chasing a mammoth target of 219, Saud Shakeel’s side faltered early.
While Rilee Rossouw put up a spirited 44 off just 19 balls, the Gladiators were bundled out for 140, losing the match by 79 runs.
As both teams prepare for Friday’s fixture, they will be desperate to turn their fortunes around and keep their playoff hopes alive.
With each side reeling from recent setbacks, the encounter promises high stakes and renewed determination.
The match is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
