Islamabad, Apr 18, 2025: A misleading price list about Kia Sportage is making rounds on social media, creating buzz by claiming a major drop in the price of the Kia Sportage L 2.0L FWD model.
In response, Kia Pakistan has officially denied the accuracy of this information and clarified that no such price revision has been made.
The circulating image, designed to resemble an official press release, falsely suggests a significant Rs. 1 million prices cut on the Sportage L 2.0L FWD variant.
According to the fake document, the price allegedly dropped from Rs. 11,825,000 to Rs. 10,825,000, with the change supposedly taking effect on April 18, 2025.
It also falsely lists the Sportage L 2.0L Alpha at Rs. 9,499,000 with no change and claims a price reduction for the Sportage L 1.6L GDI HEV from Rs. 12,850,000 to Rs. 11,900,000.
Reacting swiftly, Kia Pakistan issued a strong rebuttal, labelling the document with a prominent “FAKE” stamp.

Kia emphasized that it has not made any formal statement regarding price reductions for any of its models.
