The fast bowlers could not control the flow of runs, allowing Multan to accelerate and post a mammoth total.
Multan’s batting performance was built on strong partnerships, with the final stand of 30 runs off just 13 balls between Iftikhar Ahmed and Ghulam being crucial.
Lahore Qalandars will now need a near-perfect chase to match Multan’s imposing score, with their chances of winning standing at just 10.42%.
With the Sultans in the driver’s seat, Lahore will need a significant contribution from their batters if they are to pull off an unlikely victory.
