Islamabad, Apr 25, 2025: Despite the presence of sea breezes, Karachi experienced sweltering and muggy conditions on Thursday.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported that the highest temperature in the city reached 37.5°C, with humidity levels hovering around 58%.
As a result, the oppressive heat felt even more intense than the actual temperature.
The Early Warning Center has predicted that Karachi will continue to endure scorching and damp weather for the next few days, with temperatures potentially climbing to 38°C today and 39°C by Saturday.

Throughout most of Sindh, a heatwave is likely to persist until April 30, with temperatures expected to be 6 to 8 degrees above the seasonal average.
In the interior regions of the province, including Tharparkar, Umarkot, and Mirpurkhas, the mercury could rise by 4 to 6 degrees beyond normal levels.
On Thursday, the temperature soared to a blistering 45.5°C in Shaheed Benazirabad and Dadu.
