Islamabad, 30 April 2025: Mehidy Hasan Miraz hit a vital century on day three to help Bangladesh gain a 217-run lead over Zimbabwe.
Batting on a turning pitch, Mehidy struck 11 boundaries and one six during his knock of 104 – his first century in four years.
His efforts followed a 10-wicket haul in the previous match in Sylhet, underlining his value to the team in both departments.
Starting the day at 291-7, Bangladesh added 153 runs, largely due to Mehidy’s key stands with the lower order.
