Islamabad, 7 May, 2025: Tensions at the LoC have escalated as Pakistan’s military responded to Indian aggression by destroying enemy posts and downing three fighter jets.

According to official sources, PAF intercepted and brought down two Indian aircraft during the night, with one crashing in Bhattanda and the other in the Akhnoor region.

A third jet, identified as a Rafale, was reportedly shot down southwest of Awantipora at a distance of 17 nautical miles from the border.

No damage was sustained by Pakistani aircraft during the operations, officials confirmed.

Military reports suggest that several Indian posts were destroyed across various sectors along the LoC. Notably, one enemy outpost was eliminated in the Udhampur sector.

Pakistani artillery also targeted retreating Indian troops in the Budori and Peer Kanthi sectors, leading to heavy casualties on the opposing side.

In some areas, such as Budori, Indian soldiers were seen abandoning up to 50 posts, while in Peer Kanthi, 40 positions were reportedly vacated under pressure.

The Pakistani military stated that every drop of innocent civilian blood would be avenged.

Commanders emphasized that any provocation at the border would be met with a decisive and proportionate response.

Indian media aired unverified claims of Pakistani losses, which officials dismissed as attempts to cover Indian setbacks.

No Pakistani aircraft has suffered damage in recent engagements, according to the country’s air force.

The ongoing exchange underscores the volatility of the LoC, with both nations maintaining a high level of alert.

Defence analysts warn that continued escalation could risk further destabilizing the region unless diplomatic efforts are revived promptly.
