Islamabad, 7 May, 2025: In a tragic incident, 7-year-old Arz-e-Abbas, son of Lieutenant Colonel Zaheer, was martyred in an unprovoked shelling by Indian forces along the Line of Control (LoC).
The attack took place between the night of May 6 and 7 in the areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

This incident is yet another example of India’s cowardly aggression against innocent civilians. The Pakistani nation is mourning over the loss of another young life, a consequence of India’s continuous violation of ceasefire agreements.
Indian forces conducted cross-border attacks during the night, intentionally targeting civilian areas. Arz-e-Abbas was among the victims of this futile violence.

This latest act of hostility, especially targeting children, has been condemned as a cruel and barbaric violation of international laws.
