Islamabad, 7 May, 2025: The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Saturday issued a special traffic plan in view of the movement of Pakistan Super League (PSL) teams.
Extraordinary security measures have been implemented today from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at various intervals along Srinagar Highway, according to Islamabad Traffic Police.
Traffic on Srinagar Highway is expected to slow down. Bike riders are advised to use adjacent service roads.
Travelers heading towards Blue Area, Sector F-6, and F-7 should use the H-8 underpass.

For access to the Red Zone and Serena Hotel, travelers are advised to use Margalla Road, Jinnah Avenue, Ayub Chowk, and NADRA Chowk.
Commuters heading to Bari Imam are advised to use NADRA Chowk.
Citizens traveling to Sectors I and H should take Rawalpindi-Peshawar Road and IJP Road, via the service roads.
Entry of heavy vehicles into Islamabad will be prohibited during team movements.
Murree Road, from Serena Hotel to Faizabad via Rawal Dam, will remain closed during the team’s movement.

Islamabad Traffic Police will be deployed at key locations to assist and guide commuters. Citizens are advised to plan their journeys with at least additional 20-minute to avoid delays.

According to Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Captain (R) Zeeshan Haider, all efforts are being made to ensure smooth traffic flow and public convenience during the security arrangements
