The messages in question were described as derogatory and were allegedly shared during a time of increased regional security concerns, raising alarms within federal circles about potential internal threats to public order.

Cybercrime investigators revealed that the material shared by the officer not only criticised key national entities but was also seen as attempting to erode public trust in state institutions.

The content reportedly gained attention amid ongoing online surveillance related to national security matters.

Sources close to the investigation indicated that a formal case had been filed under applicable sections of PECA, and further inquiries were now underway to determine whether the officer acted independently or was part of a broader network.

Authorities stressed the seriousness of the offence, highlighting that misuse of digital platforms to spread anti-state sentiments would not be tolerated.
